Operations Management Dashboard

A consolidated operations dashboard for FleetCore, replacing five disconnected tools with one accurate operational view.

Customer: FleetCore (demo)

FleetCore's operations team relied on five separate tools — none of which agreed with each other — to track fleet status, shipments, and maintenance schedules. We built a consolidated dashboard that pulls from all five sources into one accurate, current view.

Challenge

Operations staff spent significant time cross-referencing fleet management software, a separate maintenance tracker, a shipment tracking spreadsheet, and two other point tools — with no guarantee any of them reflected current reality.

Solution

We built an integration and aggregation layer that pulls data from each existing system on a near-real-time basis and presents it through a single operations dashboard, with drill-down into the underlying source when needed. Rather than replacing the existing tools outright, we consolidated the view on top of them, reducing migration risk.

Architecture

Scheduled and webhook-based connectors pull data from each source system into a unified operational data store. A Next.js dashboard application presents consolidated views — fleet status, active shipments, upcoming maintenance — with the ability to drill into source-system detail for any given record. Data freshness indicators show operators exactly how current each data point is.

Key features

Consolidated operational view

Fleet, shipment, and maintenance data in one dashboard instead of five tools.

Source-system drill-down

Operators can trace any consolidated data point back to its origin system.

Data freshness indicators

Every data point shows how current it is, avoiding false confidence in stale data.

Non-disruptive integration

Existing source systems remain in place; the dashboard sits on top of them.

Integrations

Fleet management software

Near-real-time status pulled via existing vendor API.

Maintenance tracking system

Scheduled sync of maintenance records and upcoming service.

Shipment tracking

Consolidated view of active and completed shipments.

Representative outcomes

One accurate operational view

Staff reference a single dashboard instead of cross-checking five tools.

Reduced time spent reconciling data

Manual cross-referencing between systems is no longer part of daily operations.

Faster identification of maintenance gaps

Consolidated visibility surfaces overdue maintenance that used to be missed.
